My cousin Paul Milligan and his Business partner Andy Brush are our web-video production go-to experts. They are a delightful pair and despite being 20 (okay, almost 21 - in a few days for Paul), they are well beyond their years.
But because they are 20 (and 21), we delight in having them around. Andy talks about how he and his teenage sisters don’t watch tv, they watch the computer. They don’t watch one because they don’t have one anymore. Paul nudges me about my slow transition to Mac computers and IPhones. I am getting there, I promise you!
But this report from Deloitte published earlier this year validates our first-hand experience with Andy and Paul. Not only because it’s good for their business, but it’s good for our clients when we incorporate them into projects. We remind everyone, if you don’t embrace the technology (even if it feels janky and sideways), THESE GUYS IN THE ROOM (aka the next generation) won’t embrace you. This is a report worth scanning, if not digesting.
And remember when there used to be a “token woman” in the room? Now there needs to be at least one (if not two) token millennials.
