Best Blog.

No, not this one.  But the nice folks at the Public Relations Society of America (Central Ohio chapter) think that our work on the downtowncolumbus.com blog is best in the city among the non-profits.   We beat out a highly respectable hospital in town that is affilated with a university for this “PRism,”  but I won’t name names.

I received the honor today on behalf of this really amazingly talented team that has grown and nurtured our site for the last two years:

My Client: Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District, Cleve Ricksecker and Kacey Campbell

Our Partner: Columbus Downtown Development Corporation, Amy Taylor and Steve Michalovich

Our Expert Coach, Cheerleader,  SEO and Analytics Sevant: Dave Culbertson, Lightbulb Interactive

Our Blog Content Master and now Wordpress expert: Heather Brown

Our Design and Technical shoulders (we do lean on them):  Huber & Co, Bryan Huber, Nathan Demick and Matt Hornsby

And last but not least, our funny and wicked pen of writers: Miriam Abbott, who twists it better than licorice,  along with Cleve,  who has made us find the soul of our city again.

While all I did today was shower, put on some nice threads, ate the rubber chicken and didn’t trip going up the stairs and to actually get piece of glass that will dutifully collected dust, I have to say it was this team that earned it.  I’m just blessed to be at the table helping to shepard and guide as best as they will let me for our beloved downtown.   It is my pleasure and delight to count them among my colleagues and friends.  Congratulations to you all!  And for Pete’s sake, go visit our good work!
